A friend of mine and I came up with a new word when we went to the beach on Sunday. Gothers. Goths + Surfers (or any beach goer)
While we were at the beach we saw a canopy tent with a skulls and a red swirl design on each side. One of the youngins of the group brought out his guartar (with metal band stickers) and a friend of his (dressed all in black) brought out his black body surfer board... I knew I wasn't the only one :)
When we got back to her place I looked up some stuff just to see what was out there on EBay and on the net in general. I found a black beach ball, Black canopy tents with a variety of designs such as Betty Boop, skulls, pirates, flames and so on... I would like to see if there are any more of us out there....

Mon, July 24, 2006 - 1:21 PMI'm not a surfer but I love the beach. The closes I ever got to a surfboard was a body board. We dont' have waves worth surfing in Savannah, Ga. Lol! -

Mon, July 24, 2006 - 4:58 PMhey that is for sure! lived in savannah for years was an army wife there. one of the few O wives wearing fishnets and having black nails ha! i say tybee sucks. go to hilton head but make sure to get out of those fucking tourist areas.
LOVE the beach! not to far from nj up here in pa but we go to va for our summer get away much better place. -

Tue, July 25, 2006 - 11:16 AMI haven't been to any beaches on Hilton Head. I'll remember that next time. I used to go to the beach twice a week. Once during the day and once during the night so I can experience it at both times. When the waves are somewhat high and it's dark out, the ocean is just awesome and powerful!
